The most important part of your Wedding day is your budget.If you do not get this right from the start you will run into all sorts of problems and unwanted stress.
Really important points when starting your budget are
- Be realistic
- Research your product before you even put pen to paper.So many times couples sit down draw up their budget with”guess figures” don’t do it you will always be disappointed.If for example you are working out a budget for your shoes make sure you have at least 3 quotes and have a bench mark figure-this will also allow you to hunt down a bargain save money and use it towards something else.
-Speak to both sets of parents(if they are assisting in your budget)and work out exactly how much they are going to help you with and when the money will be available.This can be an awkward question tread lightly and politely with it.
Keep in mind that some parents often save the money until the end and you maybe in a position where you need to have funds to put deposits down.
Most importantly work together as a team and find a happy medium together if you really want something explain why, break down other costs or eliminate something to compensate for what you heart is set on.
